Biomarker Development
Casey Paquola leads Multiscale Neurodevelopment within Biomarker Development. Her team combines multimodal neuroimaging, postmortem histology and computational modelling to study cortical architecture, connectivity and functional dynamics across early life. The research addresses cognitive maturation and mechanisms relevant to psychiatric illness. Her methodological work includes intracortical microstructure profiling and the integration of BigBrain histology with neuroimaging.
